David Venable Just Said What?

While presenting a Dell (E227245) he just said that QVC doesn't charge you if you want to return something...OMG!

LOL. . I guess he's right. QVC won't charge you, but UPS or post office will. QVC won't charge you if you return it, but they will charge you to get it you in the first place.

I'm sure he meant a re-stocking fee.. They don't charge for that like
the big box stores do.

That's how we roll in the shire..

Many places charge a $40 or $50 restocking fee when you return something.

Many hosts have referred to the fact that QVC doesn't charge a restocking fee. Also, a lot of the hosts are saying "if you don't love it you can return it and get your money back". They do not say you will no longer get your shipping cost refunded like in the past.

They also say it does not cost anything to try it, which is not true, and never was. We have always had to pay the shipping to return, unless it is defective.

I suppose it becomes increasingly important, given recent changes that potentially cost the customer more, for the Once Mighty Q to impress upon their host 'talent' the importance of saying what is accurate and not assuming we know what they meant...

Maybe he was on autopilot at that moment! I bet after saying the same things for months or years, they sometimes just come out by themselves!
