Hello Everyone, what does QVC have in store.....let me give you a clue....I think Jasper says it all......

Now this Sunday is the Academy Awards so to spice things up I'm going to present some special awards in "honor" of QVC's weekend programming......

So let's roll out the red carpet and get started.....

Of course Saturday starts with AM STYLE....and our first award is for WHAT NOT TO WEAR--and the nominees are---

The Bag Lady

Our Lady Of Liquid Knit

The Pole Dancer

................and the WINNER is.......................

Ladies and Gentlemen it's a TIE!!!! It's ALL of them........and to accept the award it's Sparkle Cat....

Notice sparkle cat chooses to be fashionable by NOT wearing any of these fashions!

Oh and featured on AM Style is our next nominees----

The next award goes to most repetitive item in a fashion show which is a non clothing item...

I'd rather watch mattresses and computers than a day of Philosophy. An hour of watching them make suds will cause your eyes to glaze over.

Hi Spurt! Another dull dull dull Q weekend. I won't be watching. By the way, Evine has been just as dull since its name change. It makes me think new owners won't be in business very long given their last two weeks. I saw lots of complaints on their fb site.

Very enjoyable edition! By the way, about the Saturday morning pairing. Do you recall that for a brief period it was actually David, Kerstin and Shawn? Can you just imagine the three of them together, yucking it up? Three hosts for one show! Shawn, of course, was overscheduled and had to drop out.

Hi JOHNNYEAGER- Yep I remember the Saturday Morning Q that was once a trio instead of a duo.....in fact I had a hard time trying to find a photo of just David & Kerstin....Shawn always got in the way.... ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$

The trio was a channel changer for sure!!!!....

Hi CALMIN.....sad to hear that Evine has gotten off to a bad start....what I found absolutely AMAZING was comparing 3rd quarter results (sadly I can't seem to find the 4th quarter info)......but anyway, Shop HQ was 2nd in net sales, HSN was #1 and interesting that the Q was 3rd.....so Shop HQ seemed to have recovered and was movin on up after their Board Room Battle....only to be re-invented with a funny name....we will see how they fare....

Hi Handygal....and a very Good Morning to you too! ${#emotions_dlg.biggrin}$ ....

The Bag Lady is the Logo Line nicknamed by some Q customers since they said this clothing line looked like she was rummaging through someone's throw a ways and put together whatever she could find.... ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$

The Pole Dancer is Women With Control---so named from the vendor's bump and grind moves to what some consider "stripper music", to demonstrate her "no more wiggle, no more jiggle" clothing......many a thread has been written in the Suggestion Box encouraging her to consider shall we say, "another career".... ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$

Hi Kachina....I don't know.....given the choice about any of the choices---mattresses, computers, or Philosophy.....I would take NONE OF THE ABOVE!!! And yes the infamous bowl of suds and extra long demos does cause one's eyes to glaze over ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$
