Hello Folks

There was an earthquake reported 277 miles north from me in the Dallas area.....I don't think it was an earthquake, I think what actually happened was all the QVC customers in Texas SLAMMED down their remotes as they checked QVC's Weekend Program Guide....I have to warn you IT IS DISMAL AND DREADFUL!!!!! READ ONLY IF YOU DARE!!!!

Of course QVC puts it's own "clever" twist on it, and I know you will be "enthralled" with SPOIL YOURSELF SATURDAY!!!!! If you view the lineup it's more like how you feel after drinking some SPOILED milk!!!! YUUUUUCKKKK!!!!

Yep folks it's not necessarily "fashion" with as QVC presents bag lady fashions, polyester favorites, and dancing models!!!!

And you will NOT want to stay tuned for SATURDAY MORNING Q--this week's theme---it's a BIG GAME PREVIEW featuring none other than tah dah....LA-Z-BOY!!!! Just RIVETING programming folks!!!

Nothing can be more exciting than watching the host and vendor sit in recliners....just more DULL television.....If they had a category for UNIMAGINATIVE TV at the Emmy Awards.....QVC would certainly WIN!!!!

Remember last weekend....when QVC brought you all day TEDIOUS viewing.....well folks it's another ENCORE PERFORMANCE of SLEEP NUMBER BEDS!!!! I guess QVC thinks customers just can't get enough of a "good thing".......

A refreshing break in these dismal offerings is DESTINATION GOLD!!!! However, our hopes are DASHED, as QVC's promo promises to show a selection of returning favorites, popular designs, and popular brands......in other words IT'S THE SAME OLE STUFF .......and we will more than likely hear those INFAMOUS words.....THE SLEEPING BEAUTY MINE IS CLOSED!!!!

And just when you think it can't get any worse yep more LA Z BOY programming---makes you want to HIDE from QVC.....

Again... weren't we led to believe the Q was working on bringing us better programming? WHEN, WHEN, WHEN????? Because I am SO not seeing it... and I will SO not be watching... Pathetic... again...

Spurt, there was quite an aftershock here in Iowa after people saw the weekend lineup. I won't be watching.

But I have enjoyed some of the gem day!! What a shocker to see real gems in real gold, for a change!

Hi CALMIN.....In fact, after doing some checking, I think the AFTERSHOCK was felt all over the USA after customers checked out the programming for this weekend....There are not enough adjectives to describe how BORING it is!!!!

Um, well, I sort of built on what you said, making it clear that wearable tech is SO not my thing...

Honestly, it just gets worse and worse and even when you think it can't it does... What truly riles me is that they are SO clearly trying to pander to the audience they THINK they have or that they WANT to have and not to the audience they ACTUALLY have... Granted, I'm sure there are some regulars who are chomping at the bit for wearable tech, but not, I'm guessing, many... I think there are far more of us who'd simply like to see a VARIETY of clothing, home decor, accessory and jewelry items...

Interesting that the whole electronics expo thread appears to have, well, disappeared... Good. Incidentally, our two comments were, thus far, the only ones. That ought to tell them something.

I guess holiday mode may become a 24/7 365 condition. That is...forget QVC and get out and find something more meaningful to do. I surely won't be watching. Seldom do these days. Sadly, it's a habit easily broken.
