OMG SPURT !!!! This might be your best warning, I mean review yet !!!! I'm crying about the programming coming up, but you have me in stitches once again with your pictures and descriptions of what's coming up at the Q ! So appropriate !!!! I don't know how you consistently do it, but your graphics and photo's, especially the cats, are hilarious, and seem so befitting of your subject matter. I often wonder if you stage these yourself !!!
And then the picture of David holding the Halloween candy, incredible ! But he and Mary in the bacon and candy corn are one for the Smithsonian kitchen !!!
Can't believe on Saturday we have more of "Countdown to Christmas" with a 5-hour special !
Could that include more flashlights, flameless candles, key chains etc.? Must we again endure more WEN? Hasn't Chaz retired in the South Sea's on a private island yet with his dogs?
Then on Saturday you say there is another 3 hours of gift idea's ??????
But we don't have to fear, we can look forward to Sunday with all day cooking shows (wasn't that this past Wednesday's programming?) and the eternal, infernal Vitamix, Keurig , and to soften to blow, the ever-present mattress?
Man, it must be so challenging to be the people who gather to decide on weekly programming. For certain it must be a lucrative position as it takes such a creative and
intelligent collaboration.
Thanks again SPURT for your ingenious and time-consuming blog ! What would we do without your weekly warnings, uh advice ????
Lova ya GF !

WOW! You have once again outdone yourself - the zombie cats!!! And all the animals in their costumes, esp. the guinea pig in the Dumbo costume - one of my all-time favorite movies. Too cute.
Thank you Spurt for all your hard work - It is truly appreciated! (My favorite line btw: more eerie noises than a haunted house....the food chopper, the food saver, and all the items that have been boring you for all eternity!!!
Is this a civet cat or ???

I'm wondering what percentage of old, long-term QVC viewers and shoppers have totally given up on QVC with their pathetic antics and are now devoted to the other shopping channels, specifically HSN ?? I'll bet the number is higher than we think !

hey mewsmomtoo.....
That animal is a coatimundi, they are members of the racoon family. And he is ready made for Halloween since he already has a mask .
I thought the cat zombies were HILARIOUS too....
Thank you for your continued support and all your nice comments....

Hi Remee....thank you for your kind words, glad you like the post.....
ITKWD at age 75.... I never thought of that.....
And Elvis could certainly use some blue suede shoes.....
And I think your right Remee....It seems there is an ever increasing number of threads voicing their discontent with the Q all across the Forum (regardless of what the few QVC "cheerleaders" may say). The complaints continue to grow! I don't know exactly how many long time customers have actually left. QVC's 3rd Quarter financial results will be coming out in a few weeks and it will be interesting to see how they are doing on units sold. There is virtually no variety in their lineup or products so I think a guinea pig or squirrel could run the Q. Perhaps my cat Figgy should apply for the job of CEO QVC should be embarrassed at what they put on the air on the weekends, and for the weekdays for that matter too.....
HSN is not too much bettter, any time I flip channels all I see is electronics or beauty items....and they seemed to be enamored with celebrity lines....they are bringing Snookie back (insert your own joke here) .....and Tyra Banks, and are planning a salute to the Rolling Stones.... Shop HQ has picked up some of vendors QVC has let go, or perhaps the vendors chose to mutiny and jump to another channel, still it seems that they are fixated with watches.....but we will see how things go for them and their new CEO.
Take care and have a great non QVC weekend!!!
