Happy Weekend everyone........
Call out the FBI, alert the Army, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard.....get in touch with Sherlock Holmes......something is missing and needs to be found......it's a matter of URGENCY......yes folks QVC has lost their MINDS and someone needs to make sure that someone somewhere finds a brain and restores some form of intelligence to this Shopping Channel! !!!!
And we've seen Vitamix so often we can present more recipes than all the chefs on the Food Network combined....
Then there is one of our "favorites"....the Storm Trooper returns...with more "jedi wisdom" with Periconne and skin care.....
.
Of course there is Dooney which is a nice brand but come on......they have more styles than the few the Q shows.....oh yes a "fun time" indeed......
I think QVC missed a tremendous marketing gimmick and should have sold these t-shirts....
We interrupt this nap to bring you....IN THE KITCHEN WITH DAVID---The products will not be new nor exciting....but a lot of "happy dancing" is in store for all the foodies.....
Looks like everyone is getting into the act....
And even Mary can't keep up----(although she claims this is an April Fools joke, I think she's plain bored)....
More Sleep Number-------
The look on Jasper's face says it all and he doesn't look to happy---
I definitely will be pursuing other activities this weekend.....how about you!

lol..I think that about sums it up..Its so sad really...This use to be an exciting shopping network..I use to be totally addicted and actually I should be grateful for the changes even though I'm not bc it has saved Me so much money... It is hard to let a good thing go..but when its over..its over... There is a small glimmer of hope for the future if they ever decide they may need there original customers back...but i'm afraid our old QVC has sold out to the ways of the infomercials and we are not going to see the old QVC ever again...sigh...so long My favorite shopping channel.

Now Spurt, all else aside, Jasper is such a cute kitty cat and he looks very content in that picture... Fair is fair. Then again, he's probably NOT watching QVC...
...And if he is, call out the ASPCA because that would be WAY cruel.

To me Jasper's look is exactly what Figgy looks like when she watches me mop the kitchen floors....she seems to say, ..."Again!, you know we will just spill the food from the dish on the floor the minute after you clean it, why are you wasting your time doing the same thing over and over"......To me Jasper is saying AGAIN about the QVC lineup and has a quizzical and a tad annoyed look....JMHO

Hi spend4zen....yep the Q isn't getting much of my money, these days its going to local and online retailers....
QVC seems to think we will stay on board by thinking the "hosts are our friends" (i.e. just look at the Amy baby poll).........and I dont care about chatting with a cyber host or communicating with them on their Facebook Page.... The Q is sadly mistaken most of us current customers want unique products and programming to keep us shopping with them...The Q doesnt have a clue.....thats a good phrase for a t-shirt...

My friends and I discovered a fabulous barbeque restaurant (and it wasn't Corkys)...and we discovered a fabulous new card game that one of the ladies had purchased from Barnes and Nobles....
So how many handbags did you discover at TJ's......

Just one, which was one more than I should have... I had two in my cart and put one back... Both were on clearance, but I still really should have left with just the shampoos I picked up. Neither of the shampoos, by the way, were courtesy of our Crown Prince...
I ended up in the Maxx, Marshall's (nothing there) and Homegoods (a pretty teapot I also didn't need) as I was all over the map yesterday looking for one of my boy's favorite flavors of food... I'd always relied on Petsmart to carry it, but was told they'd discontinued it in favor of flavors that were selling best at other stores... I pointed out that by selling what was already sold at other stores they'd pretty much negated any need I might have to come to THEIR store in the future... The manager seemed a bit flummoxed at that logic... Oy, I guess it's not just a Q thing... Fortunately, the salmon and chicken option appears to be available elsewhere on-line, so I guess I better order a case or two before it disappears altogether... Really though, what sense does it make for a specialized retailer to only sell what is selling well elsewhere... I can get kitty food at the supermarket... The only reason I have to go to a pet store is to get what I can NOT find at the supermarket... What a concept!

Your poor little guy....what is he to do?????.....Go back to the store and bring Nikkie with you and let the Store Manager gaze into his sweet little face......I guess ALL retailers are cutting back on inventory....
Does your area have a Petco.....I am not overly fond of them but they have served in a pinch and it looks like they have Friskies in various flavors....checkout their website...but perhaps they also have them IN STORE too.
I know how fussy my Figgy is with her treats......she's darn spoiled, although Puddin with her previous time "on the streets" will pretty much eat anything.....
Now Stevie you know you will regret not getting that bag that was in your cart that you put back.....and that tea pot too....I drink quite a bit of tea and was thinking of getting a teapot or tea kettle myself....I think it would give that cup of tea a certain ambiance instead of heating water in the ole microwave....my sister said it was weird and nothing wrong with going the microwave route to heat the water....but you know her taste.....

SPURT, why aren't you fond of Petco? I've bought many things from them and have been pleased with the service. A few years back I got a cat condo, but the cat I had then, Quentin, (now at Rainbow Bridge) was too big to fit inside; there was no problem returning it.
Lucky likes the collapsible tunnel I bought about five years ago for my other cats; they didn't care for it, but Lucky plays in it and uses it as his bed. Everything I've gotten from Petco has been well made, it's just that one never knows if the cat will like it or not.
I wanted to watch a movie I thought I had taped, but instead of the movie, there was a football game on the tape: 2011 SNF game between the Giants and Cowboys! I forgot that I had even taped that. Dallas had a 12 point lead at one point, but lost in the final minutes, 37-34. Your sister must have been proud the way Eli staged a comeback. That was when the Giants were winning all their games late in the season.
