Q Did What?

Tell me that is not Renee Greenstein ...............

Started 1299881141.647 in Q Did What? | Last reply 1300122805.85 by Texas Barbie

trying to get her foot in the door with jewelry? What does she want, more money from the QVC customer? She has been around far too long and has made way too much money siphoning off the public. She was here years ago with CitiKnits, came back with so called Women With control, and is here again hawking jewelry! Some people don't know when to quit, namely Renee. Stop with yourself Renee, and go home. I cannot believe QVC keeps letting her in the door. Enough already.

So let me try to understand this. You have a problem with a hardworking career woman trying to make a living? Do you feel the same about all the vendors? The successful ones are making a bundle..and what is wrong with that. I only buy what I like...and could care less about how much people are making or how often they appear on QVC. The word "siphoning" seems quite harsh..like she is forcing people to buy what she is selling. She is far less forceful than some of the other vendors. She appears to be low key and quite likeable. I commend anyone for branching out and trying new things.

What reason could there possibly be for one woman to attack another woman for trying to make a living? Your thoughts and insults are way over the top and are so for no apparent reason.

Here's something you may not have realized in your haste to condemn another human, perhaps if you don't like the vendor for whatever silly reason or just don't like what they are "hawking", then why not just change the channel? That isn't rocket science.

There are vendors I particularly don't care for who are so incredibly pushy and wonder how anyone could be talked into purchasing their items, particularly poorly made clothing and out-of-date styles. But, you know what, I just change the channel and hope those who make purchases from these vendors are happy.

Quick FYI: Renee offered her small selection of jewelry designs long before she introduced Women with Control. You must have missed her the last 2 years.

Anyhow, she is no different than many other QVC vendors who offer clothing, jewelry and accessories (e.g., Susan Graver, Louis Dell'Olio, Joan Rivers, Issac Mizrahi, Judith Ripka -who is now offering handbags, Janie Bryant, Marc Bouwer, Rachel Zoe and others).

And the nic is "guardian angel". Obviously not for Renee...

Agree, Renee is a hard working woman just branching out, and the problem with that is????

Good for Renee!! A strong woman who never gives up. Gotta love that! As for the OP stating "She doesn't know when to quit"... EXACTLY. You said it OP. That's what makes her successful. She doesn't know the meaning of the word "Quit". That's why she's a winner.

She is NOT the only one. It's the same people selling different products all the time. Susan Graver has jewelry now, Joan Rivers is always coming up with new stuff to sell. Even Bruce Makowsky is doing shoes now. Don't like that? Don't buy it, that's what I do.

Actually, I have a couple of Renee's pieces and they're quite pretty. No complaints here.

Good heavens, she's a vendor - get it - that's her job!!!

Relax, and change the channel, or take a walk!

Whenever I think of Renee Greenstein the vision of her on Fashion friday comes to mind with her riding on "the rack" while Jayne danced and Pat kind of stood around looking bewildered LOL. Seriously good for her if she can make a buck for herself. OP you sound like you may have been bitten by the green monster and I don't mean the jolly green one!

Read between the lines ladies. This is obviously a very personal vendetta against Renee.

I'm glad I read the posts before posting the EXACT SAME THING.

THANK YOU baffled!!!

May be the OP is focused on something else about Lori G other than her offering a variety of products.

Okay! Jeez...I guess only some women can be entreprenuerial while others are "siphoning" off the public.

Get a grip, OP.

I love all the things she's sold, and I think the jewelry is beautiful.

I can't see any reason why anyone would object to a designer-salesperson designing and selling.

Am I missing something here?

Are you serious with this thread of yours? I have the pendant with the loose gemstones she was wearing and that particular piece of jewelry gives me the most compliments even over anything I wear of Judith Ripka. I'm getting ready to order her ring that matches that pendant. I admire her hard work. So what if she expanded herself to other things. She's a go-getter!!! Are you against women working? You must be if you posted a thread like this. I don't even know why I even responded to this unintelligent thread of yours. So enough said. I won't be any part of stupid. Have a good weekend.

I'm not wild about all the vendors, but if you don't care for someone, don't watch them, and don't buy from them. QVC will decide who sells on here. Or I should say, the sales numbers will decide who sells and who doesn't.
