I was going to add this to your post, but wanted to make sure all knew it is a good ending.

Someone put 6 puppies (only 10 days old) in a trash bag, and into a dumpster. A neighbor lady saw him do it, so saved the puppies, and there are people who are being surrogate mommies. They haven't caught the guy yet, but have a description. Wish they could fry people that do things like this.

These stories are so bittersweet--I can hardly stand to read/hear about them and the horrors to these poor animals; yet, wonderful outcomes that the dear little ones are being cared for humanely and lovingly. Thanks for sharing!
