I always mix dry food with wet food and most of the time I leave what is left for them to come back to or if a cat has overslept. But lately the flies have been so bad that they get to it almost immediately after the cats. And then they won't eat it. I hate to throw it away. Is there some way to store it that will make it seem just like fresh to them. Would putting it in a lock n lock work?

Re: Help with storing cat food

When I feed my cat 1/2 a can, I just leave the other 1/2 in the can and lay the lid on the can. The next day he eats it like it was new. Otherwise, I don't see why the lock n lock wouldn't work.
