Public drinking fountains, yay or nay

I've never cared for public drinking fountains. I always have a water bottle with me, and if I don't, I buy a drink. I am totally turned off by them for so many reasons. They have to be the number one place to get a good dose of all kinds of germs. What say you?

I agree! I only use them as a last resort.

There are times neither one can be avoided

Me, too!

In fact, I don't understand why people always need to have a drink of water, either carrying it, or using a public fountain.

If I think I need something to drink, I go into a coffee shop or restaurant or even a fast food place for tea. Honest to God, I do not get walking around with a water bottle.

Water is good for U & coffee is a diuretic. "Fast food place"? Really? Not!

What do people do if you really have to use the restroom?

I don't remember the last time I saw a drinking fountain, but I used them all the time in school.

I usually bring water in the car and then use a public bathroom when I have to go after drinking said water. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

You left out the most important part: tea is better for you than water. You can look that up, there's plenty of info on the web.

Yes, even fast food places serve tea. I'm not a big coffee drinker, but even yesterday on this board, people were agreeing that McDonald's has good coffee.

Tea... better than water.
