It's how QVC operates now. However, I am using my Ipad today for a recipe I found online. The same could be done with the Kindle.

I had my Kindle in the kitchen, I used it to find a recipe for a glaze for my ham. Hubby found pics of cheese and veggie platters on Pinterest with his IPad. Our tablets are our cookbooks.

They do that now with most TSVs on Sunday mornings.

Maybe, since it's the same price on Amazon, they aren't selling enough of them and they figure more exposure will get more sales. It probably does, actually.

I download cookbooks to my kindle. We must try to remember they are in the business of selling TSV's.

I have a ton of recipes on my iPad and use it in the kitchen all the time. I also have tables to convert ingredient measurements from cups to ounces so I can measure by weight (more accurate).

anyone who has a kindle, ipad, etc is really missing out if they don't use it in the kitchen for recipes, etc. it's become an invaluable necessity in the kitchen for me.
