I wouldn't have seen it this morning anyway but didn't know it was going to be on TV.

Maggie, I am sure they will.

Do you have Dish?

Dish network Channel 231 RFD TV tonight May 2 9 CT 10 ET

My heroes have always been cowboys, and they still are it seems.

My dd just said they are. She watches that channel. She said GACTV is going to also.

She says it is "big".

I don't have Dish nor GACTV. Never even heard of GACTV.

Mediacom here.

I've heard it's worth watching.

In the meantime, some of the performances are on youtube.

Type George Jones funeral in the box at youtube.

If you watch Vince Gill and Patty Lovelace sing 'Go Rest High On That Mountain', have some Kleenex.

Elsewhere, I read that Jones had nicknamed Gill "Sweet Pea", which Gill said he originally didn't know if he liked that so much, but now whenever he hears it, he'll think of Jones.

There will be a tribute concert ... I don't know if I need to see a rerun of the funeral.
