Watching Jimmy Stewart in "Spirit of St. Louis"

I just picked out the movie Shop Around the Corner which I believe he stars in. I want to start watching older movies and that one sounded good.

I didn't watch it this time, but I loved when he talked to the fly.

I loved all his movies but one that doesn't get much attention was, "No Highway in the Sky'' with Jimmy and Marlena Deitrich. Great movie. And then all the ones with June Allyson. I could never pick a fave.

Did not care for his ""ah shucks"" portrayal of Lindbergh. Lindberg was not at all like that.

I have many favs of Jimmy. He did a few w/Hitch and they are all great. I especially liked ""Rope"".
