These are beautiful...but I did not see what metal the posts are made from. I have metal allergies and cannot wear most costume jewelry made from base metal. Anyone know what sort of material the post is made in?

And does the gold color look like 14k gold?

Oh, my--this is great!!! I have the silver in pierced & one earring routinely falls off. Not sure why...the backing just doesn't hold. So, I'd still like to get the gold & gunmetal, but debating whether the clip is a safer choice this time around. Decisions, decisions...

oh no......this is BAD news!!!!

i already own the silver and the gold and NOW i will have to get the gunmetal......and i will have to get the matching necklaces also. LOL, i thought i would be good if i could just complete my 6 piece set with the long silver necklace. who knew i would have to buy three additional pieces! ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$
