Question re linen pants

I ordered the black new linen jacket and patterned black and white crops plus stripe T as shown on Louis ' blog. Linen pants in black my size all sold out. Do you think I could wear the chili pepper pant with the black linen jacket? I do already have georgette blouse & tank and safar shirt in chili pepper so could use these with pants - but wondered if black linen would look odd with chili pants? Many thanks for your opinions Ladies.
