I checked my order status this morning, and my WK SS sweater in white is backordered. Seriously!? I ordered it at the beginning of the 6:00 PM show. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to this. Exactly when are we supposed to order new items that appear to be available? At midnight? First thing in the morning? During the show, when they're presented as being available? This is ridiculous and frustrating. Anyone else having this issue again?

My skirts have been processing for four days, now. I ordered them as soon as they came up. But so far, no dreaded backorder.

My orders have been stuck in processing since 4/2 also. I'm waiting to see which items will be sent to back-order land......maybe today they will all ship!!!

What the....??

The linen blend pants that I ordered during the show shipped yesterday. The pants and jacket that I ordered on Wednesday morning, ahead of the show, are on back order. What??

Ladies, this is what santorini said in the other backorder thread, started by shopsy:

I finally spoke to a supervisor. She told me that it doesn't matter if we order early or not. All orders are thrown into the pot and the customer's "place in line" is thrown away and "all orders are then attempted to be processed." That shocked me but maybe that's how it had worked all along. I guess I've just been lucky so far.

Awful as this sounds, I think it must be the truth given what we see happen time and time again with orders. And it's definitely not just Linea - I read similar complaints about other QVC orders all of the time. What a way to do business!

I just spoke with a CS rep. She explained that back order means that they did not receive all the quantity ordered. Frustrating. The black linen/rayon jacket and petite pants were all I wanted from this visit. IDK...

I would give my eye teeth to sit in on a QVC corporate strategy meeting. I want to see and hear for myself how a business as large and far flung as QVC could be run in such a crazy manner.

I can't believe a huge enterprise like QVC gets away with this. If QVC has 99 skirts in size small, only 99 orders should be accepted. Then, it wouldn't matter whose order was filled first. If more merchandise was on the way, then that should be accepted as a waitlist order. It is unethical and I suspect illegal to oversell, expecting that some will cancel or return.

Just like the airlines!!

I just checked and the rest of my order shipped today. I ordered at midnight as soon as the items were posted.
