Baked Brow Tones vs Eyeshadows

I have been using Laura's baked eye shadows (browns) as brow liner for a couple of years. I have a slanted brow brush that I wet and then use the eye shadow on my brows. I finish with a clear brow gel, and this has worked great. It lasts until I remove it and there is no smudging. How is the Brow Tone different from the Eye Shadows? Is this a product that is substantially different from the shadows? Anyone else have any experience with using both? I'm thinking of trying the Brow Tones, but I'm not sure I need to. Thanks.

I use the darkest color in Laura's Baked ImPRESSions Eye Palette in Espresso Yourself for my eyebrows. Got this 3 color eyeshadow palette in one of her TSV's a year or more ago. It works great!
