Hubby ate very little earlier tonight.

Now he said he was hungry after watching a commercial for pancakes.

He said he wanted them and would get them from the neighborhood diner, but at this hour I knew I did not care to have him go out, so I offered to make him his favorites:

Starbucks Breakfast Blend whole bean freshly ground coffee in his own carafe.

10 silver dollar blueberry pancakes with Vermont Maple Syrup.

Crispy Bacon.

Home Fries.

Buttered toasted rye bread.

He is enjoying everything now, and promised to serve me breakfast in bed later this morning.

Yes, they are just tiny pancakes. I love the idea of breakfast in bed, but I stick to coffeecake, fruit and juice. Adore, your menu sounds delicious.

I like to surprise my DH with breakfast in bed. Not often, usually around Christmas, for his birthday, and then for our wedding anniversary. Usually French toast (he just loves French toast with maple syrup), with breakfast potatoes, and sausages. A nice tall glass of OJ and a piece of his favorite coffee cake for dessert. And yes, he reciprocates.

My father used to serve my mother breakfast in bed on the weekends. I love pancakes and have always wanted to get a waffle iron, but I don't DARE. I would gain 500 pounds because I love them that much.
