Thinking ahead, What meat do you fix at Christmas??

I fix turkey and ham for Thanksgiving, but we usually cook beef for Christmas. Either Rib Eye Steaks or a Whole Rib Eye roasted and sliced.{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

I used to make a ham but it is on DH's no list for gout. Probably a beef roast of some kind.

We usually replay T-day turkey, but I think this year we'll do a prime rib roast...with party potatoes, gravy, brandied mushrooms and a big chopped salad.

I did prime rib roast, but everyone wanted the outside part. I switched to grilling filets.

I used to repeat Thanksgiving but last year I served a Beef Roast. I decided to make all my sides, fruits, vege's and even desserts in the colors of red and green. I even found some festive red and green dinner rolls. It was really fun and tasty.

We've done ham in my family, but I prefer a repeat of thanksgiving with Turkey and all the trimmings.
