I don't have one, but I wouldn't put it on grass.

We have ours on cement slab patio. You could probably use one of those grill pads that can be used on wooden decks.

I have the older one and made a wheeled cart. If you had the leg/roller option, I wouldn't be concerned about putting it on the grass. I usually put mine on my blacktop drive.

When I get mine think I'll put on layer of concrete block within my enclosed patio. I'm only 5'5, so, don't need it real high like David does.
