No but DH has made wine using Welch's Peach Juice & I think the other was Welch's Cherry Juice from frozen concentrate. We used some of the peach wine for smoking/cooking pork on the grill. Check out this site if you are interested. It's very interesting. https://archive.org/details/oldtimerecipesfo00wrig Old Time recipes for homemade wines, cordials, liqueurs from fruits, flowers, vegetables & shrubs. If you make the apple wine please post back with your results.

I tasted a very good apple wine at a vendor tasting. I thought it would taste like cider, but it didn't.
Are you going to use your winemaking kit to try it out?

Never from apples but several years back during a tour of a winery I bought a bottle of cherry wine. I should have tried it first but didn't. When I got home and opened it, it tasted like cough syrup, I had to dump it out!
