Advice on baking frozen cinnamon rolls, please.

I just discovered a tray of cinnamon rolls that I made from scratch two months ago.

I let them rise twice before freezing them, but they haven't been baked.

Can I put them into the oven without thawing them?

Thank you.

I'd thaw them before putting them in the oven.

I make up the cinnamon roll dough, let rise once, then shape and put in a greased 9 by 13 pan and freeze them. Then thaw out the rolls overnight in the refrigerator, let them rise on the counter and bake them. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Yes, you can bake from frozen. You already let them rise twice.

Okay. Now I'm really conflicted

They've been thawing for a couple of hours. I'm going to bake them before I go to bed. Dh likes to snack after I've gone to bed.

How did they turn out??

I edited my first response. I make them this way for a friend who wants hot Cinnamon rolls for Christmas. I've done a couple of pans for her, no problems.

Make, Freeze, Thaw, Rise and Bake!!!! Smiley Happy Smiley Happy

They were awful. We threw them all into the trash.

I guess I missed a step. I should have let them rise again, even though they had risen twice before freezing. They turned out like swirly hockey pucks. {#emotions_dlg.scared}
