Re: Favorite recipe from this board?

I think she means my Oatmeal Pancakes:

2 1/2 cups rolled oats

1 1/2 cup water

2 eggs

2 tsp. oil (I use coconut)

3 tsp. cinnamon

Mix and fry as pancakes. Notice it doesn't need baking soda or powder, easy to make and we use pure maple syrup. Try to make this as healthy as possible.

Yesterday I made eight loaves of Health Bread! Great for gifts!

I found one years ago by a gentleman 'chef' who posted one for tilapia that takes minutes to prep and minutes to bake in the oven. I make it a LOT - love it!

gloriajean, do you use quick cooking rolled oats? TIA, these sound very good!

Re: Favorite recipe from this board?

You can, but the old fashioned rolled oats is what I use for more benefits and nutrition. I never buy the quick cooking rolled oats because the regular is just as fast and good.
