Could I roast/broil frozen veggies without winding up with mush?

With the unexpected snow, I didn't get out to the store for a veggie for today's feast. Is there any way I could roast frozen veggies and still expect them to look and taste good? I planned to put them on a foil covered broiler rack and drizzlle them lightly w. EVOO and a light dusting of some herb and or spice. Don't know whether to slow roast or flash broil or scrap the whole idea. Anyone?

I have never tried this but I think the vegetables should be as dry as possible before roasting. Could you thaw them out and dry with paper towels first?

I do it all the time ... using the frozen stew vegetables.

As Montana said ... defrost (even in the microwave is OK), drain and towel dry.

I let them get to room temp. Drizzle oil, add spices (if you want) and roast.

I always roast from frozen and they are awesome. Roast at 400. Some say 450 but find that the oil will spatter at 450.

I've done this with brussels sprouts and they turned out very well. I thawed them first, cut them in half, tossed in olive oil and herbs, then roasted.

I have roasted frozen broccoli after it was thawed, and it came out fine.
