Do any of you have the Le Creuset signature 15 piece cookware set from WS?

What color are you considering?

It's nice, but not at $1500 on sale! I would have to knock off one of those zeroes. I am perfectly happy with my 30 yr old Farberware and my American-made Lodge cast iron. But if want it and you can afford it, more power to you.

The Red (love the deep cherry color), or the Flame.

I know Katie, but I always have and want pieces that my children can someday have.

One of my fondest memories is of my mother passing down her kitchen things, that she had had for years, to me when I moved out.

The feeling of using the utensils I grew up with just gave me a nice sense of familiarity and that mom is with you were ever you are.

To heavy to handle. your family may prefer lighter stuff.

I bought the set a piece or two at a time from the outlet since they had the color I wanted (cobalt). I customized my set to me. I have 2 buffet casseroles (the round, shallow pan with the lid), 2 roasting pans, 1 dutch oven, 3 sauce pans, a skillet, a griddle and a soup pot.

I got used to the weight in no time! The weight of the pots and pans are normal.

I recently bought a roasting pan with a rack. I don't know the material, maybe stainless steel. It felt so light! Even with the meat in it, I could pick it up with one hand.
