First time cooking with vinegar and have a question...

I'm am making brocalli slaw for the first time, and the recipe calls for red wine vinegar. Do I need to use only glass bowls for the preparation and storage? I would like to store it in my Lock and Lock, but I am afraid the vinegar will somehow have a chemical reaction to the plastic. I don't know where to look this up, so I know you kind ladies will be there with an answer. Thanks so much!

Vinegar freak here, and plastic is fine, but just be careful with aluminum, as some vinegars will react with resulting metallic taste........Cool

You will not have problems using plastic to mix, or store your slaw.

Vinegar is a very mild acid. It won't leach food plastics.
