Who would spend 350 bucks on one single pot (dutch oven)? I bought Rachel's for 50 LOL

I wouldn't want a lot of that ol' heavy stuff anyway. 1 of the new items coming up is a set of Le Creuset stuff for get this....650...I can buy a bold gold bracelet for that. Incredible !!

RR can't compare with Le Creuset.

Who cares! That's your priority. Le Creuset is fabulous cookware. Gold bracelet is not everyone's cup of tea.

To each his own, but, my soup can sit in my Rachel pot as good as it can in a French one. LOL

Exactly! To each his own.

I have a RR medium casserole dish and it's nice... I also recently purchased a Le Creuset large oval casserole, Le Creuset small saucepan & a 5 quart dutch oven. Anything larger would be too heavy for me. The dutch oven was $275.00 but I was able to use a BB&B coupon for 20% off!!...even though it's listed on the coupon as one of the exceptions you can still use it ....at least in certain stores!

While RR is nice, there is no comparison with it and Le Creuset when it comes to quality.

I have two Le Creuset dutch ovens (1 small and 1 larger) and use them almost every day. Sure, I have Farberware stainless pots and pans and a West Bend slow cooker but I find myself reaching for Le Creuset most frequently for those one pot meals. I haven't found anything that braises meat as well, evenly heats/reheats, and is a good all-round pot from start to finish. Yes, they weren't cheap but they will last me for YEARS. Heavy? Yes. But in my opinion well worth the $. Cleans up easily, too.
