No but DH has made wine using Welch's Peach Juice & I think the other was Welch's Cherry Juice from frozen concentrate. We used some of the peach wine for smoking/cooking pork on the grill. I tasted a very good apple wine at a vendor tasting. I thought it would taste like cider, but it didn't.

Are you going to use your winemaking kit to try it out?

Many years ago my Grandpa made gallons of hard cider from an abundant apple crop, but he also made wine from the other fruits that grew on the farm.

Never from apples but several years back during a tour of a winery I bought a bottle of cherry wine. I should have tried it first but didn't. When I got home and opened it, it tasted like cough syrup, I had to dump it out!
