Baking my fruit pies for Labor Day Bash

Blueberry, Apple, and Peach pies are baking into the oven.

Already made all the refrigerated salads.

Made pink and yellow fresh lemonade pitchers cooling in the refrigerator.

All thats left is turn on the smoker and BBQ grill and cook the meats and grill some veggies tomorrow, and serve all the chow.

Looking forward to a nice day to also enjoy the pool, BBQ and our guests.

Happy Labor Day everyone, Eat, drink sensibly, and enjoy!!!

The pies were a hit and so was the Labor Day Pool BBQ party.

Guests just left and the housekeeper is cleaning up.

Hubby and I are relaxing and enjoying the rest of this wonderful day.

Hope everyone had a nice Labor Day Holiday and enjoyed themselves.

I'm sure you are a kind and gracious employer - just as you are with your guests.

But LABOR DAY is special.

I hope you are paying double time!

terrier3,

I really like you too, but anyone can hire a housekeeper, bartender, chef, or servers, through a professional service.

All benefits legally paid or legally unpaid are between those employees for hire, and the Agency which is their employer and employs them.

Do you know how many people work on Labor Day???

It isn't a holiday for everyone.

I worked today and my husband who owns a Greek restaurant is working until 11:00 tonight.

He was there since 10:00 a.m.

Labor Day. Yes, some people do have to go to work on this day.

And everyone I know, including me are happy to do so.

Work = INCOME.
