haven't read the links,,,but I make the crem from an instant out of a box. Sad, I know, but it's good. I think it was the Q years ago had a kit with the little blow torch and 4 of the dessert/custard oval cups. It's been WONDERFUL!! Now my grandson gets to do the 'torch' part and he's quite impressed with himself,,,as was son before. (OT but have you tried the Tiera Masu gelato ice cream??? MMMMmmmmMMM
