18 Traders Joe's butter croissants are about $18.

Are the French Gourmet ones that much better?

Re: 18 Croissants for $48???

Somehow I can't see them being worth that much! Heck, the Walmart ones are pretty darn good too!

They're croissants....they're a dime a dozen at the grocery store.

QVC's are better, in my opinion, but the Trader Joe's croissants are quite good. If one lives near a Trader Joe's (most people do not) and do not mind waiting for them to thaw and rise overnight, then save some money and buy them from TJ's.

Both QVC's and TJ's those are NOTHING like nasty supermarket croissants.

I wonder how many pounds of body weight 18 croissants would add up to. That is what I can't afford!

In my opinion...NO they are not much better. I ordered them and think they have an awful after taste....blech. I won't be ordering them again.

I love trader joes croissants. I think that they are just the right size and price. I am not tempted by the Q croissants. I have done a sort of ""quick thaw"" wi the TJ croissants by heating the oven up to just around 100-125 and putting the croissants in there for 5 minutes.

I shared a purchase of the Q's croissants with a friend and we've both thoroughly enjoyed them. She wants to share another order, but I'm not quite ready yet.
