I had no idea what Penuche Fudge was, had to look it up. I learned that it uses no flavorings except Vanilla, and is called "brown sugar fudge candy". Hmmm... how strange that it has it's own day. I enjoy fudge, will have to try this sometime.

OMGosh! What great memories this brings! Mom used to make Penuche at Christmas time & it was always a wonderful treat.

Willdob3, me too! My mom made it perfectly when we were kids....I tried it once after I got married (celebrating 30 years next week/got married when I was 3 {#emotions_dlg.tt1}) and it would have broken every tooth in the family! I'd love to give it another shot!
