Are they phasing out this cookware? I have a ton of it, LOVE IT, and wanted to buy a set for my daughter and it's pretty slim pickings. I've had this for a few years already, and have added on with several pieces - zero problems. I paid hundreds of dollars for Calphalon years ago - HUGE WASTE OF MONEY. I sure hope Technique isn't being replaced.

Sure looks like it. I also have been happy with it. Everything around here goes into the dishwasher. I just don't think wiping a pan out with a rag is the most sanitary.

I never put mine in the dishwasher, I wash it with dish soap and dry. I would never just wipe it with a rag.

you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime, well you just might find, that you get what you need...The Rolling Stones

I wonder if it is because they are phasing out DuPont / Teflon cookware by 2015...

However Hard Anodized is not teflon - which is great. I have a few pans of HA that I like - I wish they were induction friendly...

I have a set of Rachael Ray's hard anodized cookware which is dishwasher safe that I love. Put it in the dishwasher all the time and it's like brand new.

Soonersis, I have Rachael's two big hard anodized oval "pasta" pots, and I just love them, too. I would have bought hers as a second choice. The main reason I truly love my Technique besides all of it's qualities was/is the fact that you could add on to the set with so many more cool pots and pans of every shape and configuration, and they always matched, and the older ones still looked just as good as the brand new ones. Yeah, I love these!!!! :)

You are welcome.. I don't know if this will be a deal breaker or not for you, but it says Technique color smart cookware, so I am assuming that there will be colors to chose from, I would think also that it would be on the interior of the cookware and possibly the handles..
