Cucina Rustica by Rachael Ray

Has anyone else gotten the early access email for Rachael's new line? I love this stuff. I never cared for the Bubble and Brown design because it was way too modern looking for my taste. I understand that it performed very well, though. Cuchina Rustica is very attractive and perfect for my home decor. It's as rustic as the name suggests. I love all the colors, especially the brown.

The only problem is that it doesn't look like it will be on easy pay. My finances are still recovering from the holidays so I'm not sure I want to purchase this set, but if it were on easy pay, I could make it work. Smile

I didn't get an email so I googled it and it's very pretty with the etched herb leaf pattern. There's a nice variety of colors too. I like most all of them but would have a hard time deciding between the green, the blue, and the lavender. Luckily I'm not looking for new bakeware, but like you I prefer these over the Bubble and Brown pieces. Very pretty!

It is gorgeous!!! I have been trying to collect temptations pieces in black but I might have to splurge. I love the colors -- can't decide between the brown, mustard, lavender and blue. I just ordered RR's gradient cookware in Purple (from another website)!!

I got the email and thought it was very nice as well; would match my kitchen nicely, so many good color options, however I'm not at all interested in the over $12 shipping charge, so I'll just be patient and wait until it's sold locally in a store like Kohls or something.

I love it too! I think I like the blue best. All are pretty though. If you decide to get it I hope you enjoy it!

I love it...what holds me back also is the S&H..will wait for TJMax or Kohls also...or foodnetwork...I get some free S&H options there..

I agree with the S&H, but that is a Q issue that seems to be a "going to stay"......{#emotions_dlg.sad} I like the looks of this new idea of hers, and I love the Bubble and Brown, and own it, and use it often.......I have also found that sometimes, though not always, that they do add easy pay on the acutal day of the event.......Don't know if this will be so with this product, but can not imagine it to not, since the last time she was on the Q, all of her products, regardless of price, was available on easy pay..........Cool

At our Kohl's, you won't have the color selection you get from the Q. You only get the orange there & be glad they even have that.

I too have two of the bubble and brown pieces and really like to cook in them, but I like these so much better! They are so pretty! You may find some pieces a Kohls, but like the other poster said, you won't really have a choice in style and color. Also, this is a good deal. You would pay much more if you bought these individually at a store. I know the S and H is high, but in this case it is probably justified. These are heavy! I take issue with the Q when you pay this much for S and H on a light piece of jewelry.

I understand this is bakeware - but you cannot use these on a stovetop! If you wanted to sear something you would have to do it and deglaze in another pot. I think I'll just purchase a cast iron pot.

The shipping is also a bundle of money and no easy pay.

It is also made in China....

I got the cream and would love to see this in dinnerware - not that I need any more dishes.

Well, the colors are pretty. However, I think it's way overpriced for a 'Made in China' product. S&H-ridiculous. I hope the folks that bought it, enjoy it!

I know. {#emotions_dlg.crying} I think they're doing that deliberately. They know that many of us will pass up the TSV due to no easy pay, so the next time it airs (at the higher price) they will most likely have it on easy pay to entice us. They'll make a bundle at the higher price. I'm not sure I'll be buying then either.

What is it made of? Clay, yes, its all clay. But will this hold up like Fiesta or will it craze and crack like Temptations?

I'm hoping that it's higher quality than Temp-tations. Customers who bought lots of Rachael's Bubble & Brown bakeware have stated that it's top quality and there have been very few, if any, complaints. The B&B is made in China too, but doesn't have the issues that Temp-tations does.

I don't like to pay s/h any more than the next guy, but realistically $12.00 isn't bad for several pieces of heavy stoneware. I sent a lightweight blouse back to HSN not long ago and paid over $6.00 in postage. The item weighed practically nothing and was mailed in an envelope, not a box.

Her bubble & brown is too modern looking for me. Tempt-tations Ols World is too busy looking for my tastes. This seems just right.

I agree. I like the unevenness of the design and the color variations. They really look like old pieces that have been handed down through the generations. That's what makes it attractive to me.

I must say, I like the Cuchina Rustica line too. But I don't need the whole set or want to pay that high s/h. I will wait until Kohl's has it and I have a 30% off coupon. Remember on Kohls.com they usually have more colors of items to choose from and many times you can get free s/h. Also, Sam's Club will probably bring in a set of these.

I like the way it all stacks neatly but I really can't justify more "stuff" in my kitchen. I am tempted though. I keep saying that I'm going to only buy white from now on but the colors are SO nice!
