I purchased the JR tanzanite ring but its a size to small. Im fearful about sizing it and wanted to know if anyone has sized a JR ring and what was the outcome. Should I size it or send it back?

I had one sized years ago and my jeweler complimented the ring and commented on the ease of sizing the ring.

You need to make them aware that it's plated with rhodium, also, FYI.

It can be sized but only if there is no gem.

I have never heard this before.
My JR ring had several stones. Almost all my rings that have been sized have stones.

depending on how the stones are set. Channel set, bezel set, prong set, glued in etc.
If sizing more than <1/2 size the jeweler will have to have to adjust or correct the stone settings so they do no fall out.
I am a size 4 ring, ring sizing is part of my world.
