Asked to pay $35.00 to get watch extenders

A Diamonique watch that needs 2 extra links to fit and the manaufacturer wants $15. each for the links + shipping. A total rip off - the watch goes back

Wow, that is a lot of money! Yes sending back is a good choice, in my opinion.

I agree, horrible mark up. I'd send it back too.

I agree, send it back! I recently called Fossil to get additional links for a watch DH got, and their policy is to send the first 2 additional links free. All I paid was $4 for shipping. Also, the links arrived in less than a week! Needless to say, I was very pleased. {#emotions_dlg.wub}

Re: Asked to pay $35.00 to get watch extenders

I agree, it's not worth the price. But many manufacturers charge for extra links, plus shipping. $15 a link isn't unusual, although I think it's outrageous. I much prefer watches that are too big and need to be sized down, or some companies that will supply 2 extra links as a customer service for free.
