Joan Rivers' Necklace Came Today

So sad to hear about Joan before I left work today. Have so much of her jewelry and fashion items. Loved watching all her shows. Came home and opened my mailbox and this is what I saw:

Feels like a got a final farewell from Joan. RIP to a great woman.

My husband and I took our kids to the top of the World Trade Center for our anniversary dinner in August of 2001. They were little and we had been there before, but wanted them to experience it. The staff was so nice to them and it was a special night.

The credit card bill for that dinner came on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001.

My son agonized over the thought that the people he had met and talked to that night had been caught in the terror. Still gives me chills.
