Jewelry related---My cursor isn't arrowing up or down!

Jewelry related because it's the Klondike Gold Rush and I can't get my stupid cursor to cooperate!

I don't use that little 'pad' to navigate my laptop, I use a mouse and go up and down page with the little arrows along the left of my screen. So the cursor will move around the page to click on things, but I have to use the up and down arrows next to my space bar to move up and down a page.

My brain isn't wired to do this quickly when Marybeth is telling me to hurry and order. LOL.

Help!!!!!

Is your cursor locked? Try your F5 key. It locks and unlocks your mouse pad.

Function f9 will unlock your cursor if it is locked, f5 refreshes your screen.

On my computer, F5 refreshes the screen and Function +F5 locks the mouse touch pad.

It sounds like you've locked your scroll key, not your mouse. Try a Google search on Scroll Lock and maybe include your computer type and operating system.

Thanks all, I had hit every 'f'ing number up top when this first happened.

And I kept hearing a sound like someone was playing a harp (I'm not tripping).

Anyhoo it's working now. So thanks again.

Is there a very small button/bar (I'm talking maybe 1/4"" or 1/2"" long) that looks like a - somewhere around the keyboard area on your laptop? It could be at the top of the keyboard or at the bottom. Sometimes it will have a light if it is locked. Look for that.
