Do you think the stone is glued in? Would you be worried that it is not prong set?

Re: J295999 Turquoise 14K ring

It's probably set on a pin, like a pearl.

Very fragile setting. I wouldn't buy it. Nothing to protect the stone.

For that price, it most likely is glued or attached by some other inexpensive way.

I think it is pretty and would like it next to a gold band.

It's a lovely ring, but I guess it would depend on how much you do with your hands. If you wear it to work and you sit at a computer all day like lots of us do, it would probably hold up well. If your hands are busy, banging around and whatnot, I'd be concerned that the stone would get damaged. It would hold up better in a bezel setting of some kind.

Re: J295999 Turquoise 14K ring

My Oz Paz ring J296259 received and wore for two days, beautiful, but the turquoise stone fell off one night went I was out, didn't know it until I got home to take it off. It was set on a pin.

I did order another because it is so beautiful and my birth flower is the rose and stone is a pearl and I love Turquoise. I will try again.

Qvcaddition, so sorry that happened to you. It is a very beautiful and unusual ring. Are you going to get a replacement for the loss of the stone, or did you purchase a new one?

I have been lucky so far, knock on wood, and have not lost any stone or pearl that was set high.
