Good morning pearl queens.... Time to start a new thread I see. The coffee pot is on with a new blend from SB. Chocolate Pearl blend... Smells great. I will be around with the pot in a few minutes... Anyone for one of Crusty's freshly baked cinnamon rolls?

Hi Pearl Queens! Some of you may have seen this already, but Newberry asked, so here's my new set of Tahitian pearls from Pearl Paradise. Carved Tahitian, Baroque Tahitian, Keshi Tahitian at the top, separated by aquamarines, and a custom gold bail by John at Pearl Paradise at the top. Blossom Tahitian earrings to coordinate. Enjoy :)

Here's a closeup of the pendant. I can wear on a short chain, a small gemstone strand or a long gold chain. Hope to find a long "chain" of tiny pearls to put it on in the future. This one's been in the works for months, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out ... delicate, different, a bit unusual, yet wearable with anything ... Pearl Paradise is wonderful !

CathyRD. WOW! This turned out beautifully. The blossom Tahitian earrings coordinate well with your custom pendant. I zoomed in on the bale, I love the intricate design on the front, does it open? The keshi at the top and the baroque in the middle look just great with the carved pearl. What size are the pearls?

Hi Esmeraldagooch; Thanks again :) This piece is quite delicate. The bottom pearl is about 11mm long, middle about 8mm, top keshi 7mm ... these are all lengths, and approximate as I don't have a calipers. No the bail doesn't open; I wish it did ... I originally wanted an enhancer bail but when John came up with the textured gold idea I fell for that. The only thing I'd change if I had a wish list would be to make it an enhancer, and have the textured bail a bit wider ... it's very thin, and these old eyes can't see it as well as I'd like LOL. BUT, as the piece is delicate, it suits the design and works great. The bail would fit over anything smaller than 3 - 4mm, so I can wear on a variety of gold chains, cords and it also fits over my strands of faceted laboradorite, spinel and moonstone; they all look great. I'm looking for a tiny strand of pearls to put it on too :) PP offered to make the bail as big as I needed to fit a particular strand of pearls, but I didn't want to make it too big. It would look fabulous on my little 8mm strand of Tahitians from the ruckus ... maybe I'll get one of those separate small gold enhancer bails; been meaning to pick up one of those and I need a few things from Rio Grande anyway ... thanks again!

Faceted Laboradorite? I bet that looks so beautiful.

Hi Newberry :) I'll try to post a photo tomorrow. I've been working on a brochure print deadline, and I can't see straight anymore. I've been telling Walter we need to drive the silver travel trailer out if we go to another Ruckus LOL ...

At Newberry's request, my new Sea Of Cortez keshi and baroque pearl necklace, 14K yellow gold and tiny rough diamond beads. Sarah Canizarro from Kojima Pearl Company is a genius, and Douglas MacLaurin from Cortez Pearls grows the most beautiful pearly babies :)

Sorry ladies; I'm using the same photobucket I always use, but the photos just won't post for reasons that escape me ... apologies.
