Good morning pearl queens.... Time to start a new thread I see. The coffee pot is on with a new blend from SB. Chocolate Pearl blend... Smells great. I will be around with the pot in a few minutes... Anyone for one of Crusty's freshly baked cinnamon rolls?

Okay, I've got a new theory; let's see if THESE photos post ... My PhotoHisano's Glamour Photo

CathyRD1398229161.721511 PostsRegistered 10/14/2011

Oh! Got it! Eek, with sincere apologies for the large size of the photos ... I'll reduce the size next time before posting. I had to go counter-intuitive and not follow any other tutorials/instructions as they just wouldn't work ... maybe because I'm on a MAC ...

The pearls are MUCH prettier in person, and change in every light; I wear them every day ... I plan my clothes around them ... although my turquoise is considering staging a revolt LOL.

I see the captions did NOT post, so ... the first photo is my shot, the second is Hisano's PP glamour shot she sent right before the necklace shipped.

Newberry: Will do; I think I can figure that out "over there" :)

Ennui, thanks; I saw your post right after my post suddenly worked! Yes, I was trying to follow Esmeraldagooch's great Photobucket instructions. That method just wouldn't work for me. Now, I succeeded in posting, but I'm not at all sure why, as I changed a couple of settings, so I'm still puzzled as to why it worked LOL ... Thanks for the tips.

That is a beautiful necklace! {#emotions_dlg.blushing} I'm glad the photos worked -- (and yes, your photo-posting challenges may have been MAC-related).

Thanks Ennui! It was driving me NUTS, as I do graphics/internet stuff all day long, and ... And of course I broke the first rule of narrowing down the problem, and changed three things, so now I have no idea which one worked LOL. I am amazed by how much I like my necklace too; it's just perfect for what I wanted. Very pleased :)

Newberry; thanks! I'll be the very short, very round older lady without a bed full of pearls, and without a glass of wine ... that leaves me plenty of sober time to study, admire and maybe buy new pearls, and leaves more wine for everyone else LOL. I am beyond excited! My husband will accompany me to CA, but not to the weekend ... he indulges my love of jewelry, but not his idea of fun; fortunately we have dear friends and relatives about an hour away, so he'll have lots to keep him busy.

Esmeraldagooch, Okay, I'll try again. I THOUGHT I followed your previous directions ... and the odd thing is the photos appeared to paste to the reply box as I could see them fine, until I hit post and they disappeared again. I'll try again.

How great is this! We get to meet you at the ruckus? I don't drink either so a Diet Pepsi on ice perhaps?

Your pearls are beautiful. I love the diamond sprinkles randomly placed.

CathyRD, Your pearls are so unique and absolutely beautiful. I don't blame you for wearing them everyday. They would go with anything in your closet.. Enjoy them, and wear them in good health always. Your post made me chuckle about your turquoise staging a revolt, kind of how my Tahitian peacock pendant feels, I seem to be wearing the SS pendant way too much.. How great for all of you that will meet at the ruckus, you will all have such a wonderful time.

Wear your pearls everyday, and be touched by Pearly Greatness!

Cathy, that is a gorgeous strand of pearls! I love the diamonds...so subtle, but yet so bold. I would wear them constantly with everything! May they always bring you joy, wear them in good health!

Oh, thank you so much ladies! I'm so sorry I made the photos SO BIG ... I'll try to fix that next time. Yes, the diamonds are very subtle, but that's what I wanted for this piece ... I was really going for something I could wear every day, in a perfect cool champagne color for the same reason. It was a bit difficult to imagine the transition from the "in progress" photos which were much more colorful to the finished product, not a little anxiety producing, but in the end PP did a perfect job interpreting what I wanted :) Thanks again ladies!!!

Thank you, LitGeek; I really look forward to meeting as many of you as possible, and your pearls, of course :) Thanks Smarty too! I give all credit for that artfully, carefully orchestrated "random placement of diamonds" to Hisano at Pearl Paradise ... what a masterful job she did!

I am trying to decide between the smaller or larger edison pearls.

Good luck with your decision, Smarty. They both contain substantially sized pearls, so either way, you will not be receiving a petite pearl necklace. I am sure you will be satisfied, either way. (Not that that helps you at all. LOL.)

I can't wait to read about what you think of them.

I have seen these strands and they are TDF and you can't go wrong with either size but...if it was me I would go with the larger size. I will give you a couple of reasons. These are priced beyond a steal. When they first were introduced they were in the multipal of thousands. Jeremy hand picked each and every strand so there is not a bad one in the bunch. I will give you a couple of links to see what the difference in a mm is actually a big deal.

good luck with your decision and post a review when you recieve them.

Ooooh I love tipping scales except when I stand on one. The most important thing is that you are happy. I think there are only around 40 of these special strands so which ever one you get will be very special. Congratulations {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}
