Thinking of ordering some rhodium plated items. Does that wear off? I don't have anything like it. TIA

Most white gold is rhodium plated at the manufacturer. Yes it does wear, but depending on the item can last for years. Rings and bracelets will need it more often. Jewelers can refresh the plating, but its never as thick as it was new.

I bought a rose gold plated watch from Invicta, and although I love the watch the plating is wearing off the back of bracelet band. The watch is maybe a year old and I really have not worn it with any regularity, would not buy in that brand again.

Is the item silver? High spots wear first and will then tarnish. When you replate check around for in house work and prices will vary. Many send this out because of the cyanide. In house is cheaper, no postage.

I am thinking about J320287. It's a 36 inch necklace.
