Help with a clasp on a Bronzo Italia bracelet

I recently purchased J287341, a black spinel tennis bracelet in Bronzo Italia. The clasp is a tongue & groove and the tongue part of the clasp is silver with just a small smidge of bronze color, as if the bronzo has rubbed off from unclasping/clasping, leading me to believe this is probably a bracelet that has been returned. I thought Bronzo Italia was supposed to be through and through so I assumed the clasp would be the same. Once the bracelet is on, you don't see it but I'm now worried about the rest of the bronzo on the bracelet. Many of the reviews indicate a problem with the clasp. It's not easy to get on and off but it is a beautiful bracelet so I'm willing to work with that but I really don't want to keep a defective bracelet if the bronzo will eventually wear off. Any advice please? Thanks!

I've seen sterling bracelets that have steel clasps, for better durability. If it doesn't show when worn, it wouldn't bother me.

Yeah ..... I was also thinking the clasp is probably stainless steel.
