I don't remember what the Rue was previously charging for shipping. Does anyone know??

Yes, they have always charged for shipping. They do, however, give you free shipping for 30 after you've made a purchase and paid for shipping once.

Gem lover they charged me $9 for two boxes of CP jewelry - one heavy necklace and one very lightweight bracelet. Gave me the next 30 days free shipping though it took more than 3 weeks to get to me after the order, lol.

I've been buying from Rue for 4-5 years now and it seems they always charged one flat rate of $9.95 for shipping. However, that included everything ordered at that time, and for the next 30 days.

Yes, everything you said is true, but now they have a special of $30.00 for the year on shipping and anything you buy for a year is shipped free. Is this a good deal?????

If the price is indeed $30 for the entire year it's an excellent deal, providing you know you will place an order with them for at least 3 months or more! I knew they had a price for the entire year but I thought it was more along the lines of $80.

Fairly recently they had a special offer. $9.95 for 365 days of free shipping. I bought that and have been getting free shipping on everything since. I'm delighted with it!

That said, though, their ship time is not usually very fast. Usually 2 to 3 weeks, so if you're in a hurry, forget about it!
