Remember these collections from other shopping networks? Tony Malvagna from Park Avenue is on EmVee TV right now and he has 1912 stuff with him. So nice to see their familiar faces and styles and they quality of jewels.

The channel is 225 on Directv, but it's also on dish. They have a website, emveetv dot com, which lists their schedule and channels. They also have some estate shows with nice items.

Just a warning - I've ordered twice from this new channel and the customer service is not good. My first order - they charged my card, and I never got any kind of shipping notice. I finally emailed about 3 weeks later and they said they "just found" my order - it had fallen through the cracks somehow but it was sent out that day. (no refund on the shipping I might add).

I ordered again 3 1/2 weeks ago and same story - card was charged, no shipping notice. I again had to email THEM for a status. It took another 3 or 4 days for someone to call me and let me know that what I ordered had sold out and they were awaiting a new shipment from the vendor. Anticipated to come in this week.....this time they did refund my shipping. Which - by the way - is 9.95 for a $39.00 item! I have no idea if they will ever get this item shipped out to me, but if they don't in a week or so I will cancel the order altogether.

That's a shame! This group has been around long enough to know how to run things. Hopefully it's because the system is new and they are working out the kinks.

I watch their shows off and on during weekends and thnk the value they offer is generally great (mostly old gold prices). Some things are WAY over any budget I could possibly have (unless there's a rich uncle somewhere I don't know of who loves me and only me!) but I've been pleased with the items I have ordered. I didn't have the problems manicshopper has had, shipping was pretty quick, but there wasn't a shipping notice. manicshopper - I would call on the weekend and ask for a supervisor (or Mark!?) or at least send them an email documenting your issues. mariner13 - I suspect you're right, these guys have been around long enough to run a top-notch shopping channel and hopefully recent issues are start-up related. They want to be a "boutique" shopping channel so I would hope their customer service would be excellent. LL
