Thoughts on Konstantino Jewelry

Started 1361475265.26 in Jewelry Talk | Last reply 1366659620.333 by Deanie

I have been noticing this type of jewelry. Very distinctive look. It appeals to me, however, I was wondering if anyone has experience with this brand and what do they think? Does it hold up through wearing, does it hold its value, is it worth the money?

Hi, Deanie. I don't own a single piece of Konstantino jewelry, but I think it is beautiful, and it looks very well made, too. Only you can determine if the pieces are worth their prices. They look like treasures to my eye.

Stunning jewelry and very very high quality. I have a ring and recently purchased some cufflinks for my husband. It certainly holds up to wear as I wear my ring often. Not sure I would count on jewelry to hold its' value -- I suppose as much or as little as any designer line. I would never purchase jewelry as an investment but rather to wear and enjoy.

I collect crosses & have a few of his 14kt/SS. They are of nice weight & the stones are of good quality. I have purchased some on line & on sale. Not sure, but I think Shawn wears a Konstantino cross sometimes - SS with pearl endcaps.

I have two pairs of Konstantino earrings. both are sterling silver with 18K. they are very substantial in weight but not uncomfortably heavy. intricately made with detailing like I've never seen before. It's pretty pricey jewelry in my opinion, but I bought both of mine on eBay for way less than retail. I've had them for about a year now, and although I don't wear either pair every day I do believe they are so well made they will last a lifetime.

I own two pieces, and both are beautiful and well made. It is an expensive line but so are yurman, john hardy and other designers, are their pieces worth the cost well we all know the answer that.

Are the items still handcrafted in Greece? I think they are beautiful, but I haven't explored the line in a long time.

Beautifully crafted for sure. I think the line is so limited in production that it's still made in Greece.

Yeah, FINALLY!!!!! Run Trey, run!

It is absolutely beautiful and well made. I had a stunning cross and necklace that unfortunately got stolen along with a lot of my other jewelry, but I still own a pair of earrings and a bracelet that I LOVE! It also plays well with Barbara Bixby!

Thanks to everyone for your feedback. All very positive comments. I am going to seriously examine the pieces next time I am in a B&M store where I can handle them.

The crucifix I have worn everyday for years (18k/SS) is Konstantino given to me by my husband. He also gave me a large link bracelet. They are both substantial and higher quality than anything sold here. I have some JR, Bixby and others but Konstantino is a step above, more like one of their couture lines. It's beautiful.

Well, I took the plunge. I went to a trunk show this weekend and the pieces are absolutely beautiful. I got a pair of green onyx earrings. My goodness are they nice! They are long and dangly, but, not too heavy. And, I got a pair of chubby hoops in gold and silver. I could have gone bonkers. I tried on a bracelet to match the earrings but, it was very pricey, so, I will save up for that. I can not believe the quality and they are still handmade. Thanks to all of you for your feedback. I believe I have become a Konstantino aficionado.
