Question about little black cloth

I bought the bronze and pearl earrings. In the package was a small black square. Customer service can not tell me what it is for. I assume it is a polishing cloth. But for what pearl or earring.

That would be the world's tiniest polishing cloth. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Yes, it's an anti-tarnish agent.

Really, flbetty...customer service couldn't tell you? With the thousands of pieces of jewelry they are selling??? Sorry, that you encountered that. Each CS rep should be trained in how items are packed and shipped to be able to answer questions. I am truly amazed. (When I first started buying, I wasn't quite sure either, but figured it had to be anti tarnish since it came in every plastic bag.)
