Has anyone been diagosed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica?

I have for 2 years now had this and Tuesday got a shot in my shoulder that hurt beyond belief and also had a Vector blood test to check on my inflammation with results Tuesday.

I presently am on prednisone (low dose and only 2 a day) and methotrexate which now he has increased from 5 pills a week to 8 to see if that won't help.

What meds are you and any recommendations?

I was diagnosed two years ago, and was on prednisone for two years. I am now in remission. I ate a high potassium diet and exercised six days a week. I was always fatigued, but I now feel like I am really getting better. I do have joint aches, and at times my muscles are stiff, but I find if I keep moving that helps.
