…a question.

When they enter a hospital.
""Have you traveled out of the country in the past month?""
At least in Boston they are...
Happened to me today.

And Karnac(or Carnak, whichever you prefer) the Magnificence answer is: What difference does it make?

I don't know. Perhaps one would find out if they answered "yes". Perhaps there's some procedure that puts them in a different room?

Better late than never I guess. But as a former famous person once said: ""What difference does it make""?

My first reply was to your starting thread which said, "a question".

I wouldn't object, but I don't feel any safer for that question. Did they ask if you flew back from one of the countries affected by the infections or do they plan to trace everyone? Could you tell?

I have to go to physical therapy and I asked the therapist. He said that they are asking everyone and they are having multiple meetings because the procedure to handling ebola has everyone concerned. Each and every person is asked this:
"Have you traveled out of the country in the past month?"
I asked him what happens if someone says "yes?…do they put everyone in a lockdown?".
He said they would do temperature checks. He mentioned that it is only during the fever stage someone can transmit the disease.
Scary times!

It must make some difference for them to ask everyone.
