Just an adjunct thread to the Cancer Survivors to post information.
Skincancer.org has some important info, including a push from the U.S. Surgeon General (who is a dermatologist) on regulation and also a blog called, The Melanoma Letter. Copy & paste this as I cannot post a link from my Kindle.

Thanks. Personally I would rather have the mole removed ASAP. I'm fair and had multiple bad sunburns as a child before we knew had bad that was. I've had cancer already, and dad had two types of skin cancer including melanoma. The surgery he went through for the melanoma was harsh; but they did catch it in time.

You'd rather have the mole removed than what? What type of cancer have you had?
