Or just remember the "A, B, C, D, E's" of skin cancer:

A = Asymmetrical

B = Border

C = Color

D = Diameter

E = Evolution

Yes, but this app will track their changes with photos.

You don't need an app, just go to the dermatologist and make sure.

That's cool and will maybe entice more and younger people to be more aware.

The ABCDE rule is a good one to follow and also trust your instincts. In '98 my tiny (2mm) thin lesion didn't follow any of these, but I just had a feeling, intuition that there was something wrong. It turned out to be St. 3 Melanoma that had metastasized to the primary lymphs.

I used this link unsuccessfully. Says website is under construction.

NEVER MIND!!! My auto spellchecker abbreviated doctor to ""Dr"".

Oh, puh-leeeeeze! I'm all for health, but this idea is obsessive-compulsive to the extreme.

Re: Phone app for watching moles for Melanoma

I prefer having any mole removed over watching it and if I was going to watch it change, I'd have my dermatologist do the watching. I actually had two moles on my back removed early in the summer. Why in heaven's name would I wait to see if they turned into something serious somewhere down the road?

Good Stuff, have you had skin cancer?

More people die from skin cancer than all the top 5 cancer, including breast cancer, combined. If this saves someone, it's worth this "extreme" app. Plus, younger and tech savvy would be more inclined to use this.
