Are E-cigarettes harmful?

Anything you inhale instead of fresh clean air is harmful to your body.....

....and I'm a former smoker 14 months of smoke free!!! (but who's counting)

and I still can't believe I smoked that long, now I pass smokers and it gags me, need to hold my breath until I pass.

The only thing I know is something I heard on the news a week or so ago. E-cigs apparently use cartridges with a liquid in them that is poisonous if ingested or touched on the skin. They discussed some instances of both children and adults being poisoned.

Congrats Nantucket Shore on now being a non-smoker.

They have not posted any rda for e-cigarettes, but how could they be not be harmful? They have been known to explode if they are not charged correctly.

Good for you! I smoked all through my 20s and quit in my early 30s (I'm 57.) I also gag and can't stand the smell of it. This e-cig fad ticks me off, because just the other day someone 'lit up' their e-cig in the movie theatre. I was like, I don't want to inhale your vapors!!

i read several articles on it and found its harmful.

Yes. To the smoker as well as to those around the smoker.

Anything that emits that much smoke, or whatever it is, can't be good inside you or outside you, or for anyone else who's around you. It looks like Mt. Vesuvius erupting!
